The crash happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday when a person who had just dropped off their pet at the popular dog hotel and daycare drove into the front of the building at 395 Route 6, said the owner, Lia Herlihy.
"They said their brakes were sticking and they couldn't stop in time," Herlihy said. "Thank goodness no was injured and no dogs were in the area."
Herlihy said the damage is quite extensive to the main picture window area and will need to be covered with plywood until it can be replaced.
It is unknown if the driver was ticketed.
